Throughout his career, he has published more than fifty titles, combining captivating narratives with detailed illustrations that stimulate children's imagination. Among his most notable works are "Gorilla" (1983), "Voices in the Park" (1998), and "The Pig Book" (1986), all in the genre of children's literature.

In 2000, Browne was awarded the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award, recognizing his exceptional contribution to children's literature.
