Synopsis "Heaven Sent Rain"

This is the final book in a series that casts a light on blind children in Kenya and their families. These books showcase common themes of independence, happiness, and empowerment. The family and friends of the blind child also demonstrate acceptance; understanding that blindness may require tasks to be adapted and completed in a slightly different manner. Heaven Sent Rain explores the concept of teamwork and working together toward the common needs of the family. The two brothers each have different strengths that they contribute to complete the daily family chores. John is not only strong, and independent, but blind. He is a main contributing member of the family team! These brothers depend upon the rain for the animals and the vegetable garden, so they can attend school come September.
