Our purpose in writing this book was to provide a clear, accessible treatment of Statistics for students studying graduate or post graduate courses in Statistics, Mathematics and Engineering. It focuses on the interpretation of statistical results, especially in real world settings, and assumes that students have an understanding of intermediate algebra. Many examples are presented to clarify the use of the techniques and to demonstrate what conclusions can be made.
