Synopsis "Mail-Ordered Happiness"

Marybeth needed to escape from being the poor passed-around relative. She answers an advertisement to become a mail-order bride and sneaks away from a uncouth distant relative with fast hands and lustful desires. Randall wasn't prepared for the beautiful woman that step off the train. In fact, he was sure she would see him as the poor sheep farmer that he was and return to the city at the first chance she got. The couple realized right off that the situation was more then they both were hoping for--A happily-ever-after. Marybeth had never lived on farm and Randall enjoyed showing the city girl how wonderful life could be living in the country. They had a lot to learn together and they were sure that God had brought them to this place. Each day brought them closer together. There were surely blessed. Until one day, Cousin Max shows up to threaten their new found happiness. This short romance story about Marybeth and Randall is a historical novella.
