Rick is a risk-taker so he ignores the dangers and the warnings he receives and continues with his search for Jodie. Will he find Jodie? Will the police stop hounding him? Will the Moretti gang get to him? There's romance and sex in this story too. Rick's love affair with Alison started well and their sex life was great, which Rick describes in detail. Now it's falling apart, with former partner Jennifer back on the scene, and then Alicia appears. How can he sort out this love-triangle without losing all of them?Interesting commercial plots, an intriguing search for a missing woman with all its mystery and false trails. Rick, despite his many flaws, is excellent at what he does - hunting down criminals, and solving complex security issues. This is the fourth novel by Tony Howells, the second in the Rick Hartley series, and is of the same high standard as his previous ones.
