Synopsis "Nightmare Tales"

Delve into the unsettling world of "Nightmare Tales," a collection of short stories exploring the chilling intersection of dreams, horror, and the occult. Penned by H. P. Blavatsky, these tales venture into the shadowy realms of the subconscious, where nightmares take shape and the veil between reality and illusion thins. These stories are more than mere frights; they are investigations into the nature of fear itself, presented through a lens of occult fiction. Blavatsky's exploration of dreams as fertile ground for horror resonates across time, offering readers a glimpse into the enduring power of the human psyche's darkest corners. Prepare to be captivated by these classic tales, where humor may offer a fleeting respite from the pervasive sense of dread. This meticulously prepared print edition ensures that these timeless stories continue to haunt and intrigue readers for years to come. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.This work is in the public domain in the United States of America, and possibly other nations. Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (Ekaterinoslav, 1831 – London, 1891) was an influential Russian writer and a central figure in modern esotericism. Co-founder of the Theosophical Society in 1875, her work combines elements of occultism, Eastern religions, philosophy, and mysticism. Her literary style, dense and symbolic, falls within the genre of esoteric and metaphysical essay, with a doctrinal focus on the nature of the soul, karma, and the spiritual evolution of humanity

Among her most recognized books are Isis Unveiled (1877), The Secret Doctrine (1888), The Voice of the Silence (1889), Practical Occultism (1890), and Letters from H. P. Blavatsky to A. P. Sinnett (published posthumously in 1925). She did not receive literary awards during her lifetime, but her legacy has been decisive in spiritual movements of the 20th century
