Synopsis "Restless Mind"

Sudhendu (Shibu) B. Dhar is an international energy sector development consultant who has provided consulting services in over 70 countries for multilateral development banks, including the World Bank, African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, and European Development Bank, as well as bilateral development agencies like USAID and private clients. He is frustrated with the current lack of development addressing basic human needs. Over 2 billion people lack access to clean drinking water and survive on less than $1.50 a day. The present state of the world reflects an extension of the colonial era, during which Western European countries exploited and looted resources from developing nations. Ironically, these same countries now dominate international institutions while preaching about "human rights" and the "rule of law."In this collection of articles, you will find several pieces with a satirical nature included for your entertainment. Most of these pieces focus on the current state of world affairs, and none should be taken too seriously to avoid bringing you down.He is the author of a newly published original screenplay, "Christmas in Palm Beach".
