Synopsis "Scars"

After a lifetime full of trauma, substance abuse, and homelessness, an angry Derrick Bishop enters inpatient rehab in lieu of incarceration. With the assistance of his counselor Justin, Derrick works to discover his true self hidden among the unspeakable memories of the past. Struggling to break free from the emotional constraints of his turbulent history, an enlightened Derrick begins to emerge and the dream of rekindling his lost love starts to grow. With a driving force to win her back, he moves forward on a challenging journey of recovery, unsure of what he will find when he finally reconnects with the woman of his dreams.
