Synopsis "The 17th Parallel"

Sean Murphy and Mike Kelly met on the playground of their grammar school in Hackensack, New Jersey. The unlikely pair quickly became the best of friends, a bromance that would end tragically at the 17th Parallel early in the administration of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. But what becomes of the grieving survivors? Parents and a sibling, a widowed bride and the best friend who makes it back from the depths of despair, how will they all cope? Can they pick up the pieces of their shattered lives? What do they have to do to move forward beyond the void left by their tragic loss? They will always remember their departed loved one but life must go on and so it will.
