In the blink of an eye, two days simply vanished. Lee Jensen's goal was to build a revolutionary energy storage system, a better battery. It was not going well. He had performed forty-seven tests and recorded forty-seven failures, at great expense. The pressure to produce a positive result was overwhelming. So, he made a minor tweak to the standard operating protocol for Trial 48. What could go wrong? That perception quickly changed in a flash of blinding light. In that span, Lee lost 48 hours.
