Something is inside the facility. And it already knows their names. When an isolated military research station suddenly goes dark, a reconnaissance team is sent into the mountains to determine what happened. They expect equipment failure. An attack. Maybe even a cover-up.They do not expect the silence. The station has been abandoned in the middle of ordinary life. Meals left unfinished. Doors hanging open. Blood where bodies should be. Security footage corrupted beyond recognition. And warnings left behind by people who apparently knew exactly what was coming. Then the team begins hearing voices over dead radio frequencies.Voices they recognize.Voices belonging to people who should not be there.Something is moving through the surrounding wilderness, and every hour it gets closer. It watches from beyond the floodlights. It mimics human speech. It learns behavior. It remembers things no stranger should know.Soon, no one can be certain who entered the facility with them and who only looks like they did.Staff Sergeant Ronan Mercer knows fear can destroy a unit faster than any enemy, but discipline means nothing when the enemy can wear the face of the man standing beside you. As his team begins disappearing one by one, Ronan is forced to rely on Sergeant Tavian Cross, the combat medic he has spent years trying not to want.Their feelings may be real. The thing hunting them has learned how to fake those too.Cut off from extraction and surrounded by something they cannot identify, the survivors are left with one rule: Trust no voice.Trust no face. And never open the door just because the person outside knows your name.Unknown Hostile is a military survival horror novel with psychological terror, isolation, body horror, paranoia, creature horror, graphic violence, and a dark M/M romantic subplot.
