When Justice Calls - Mac Worden

You can take the Ranger out of the Army, but you can’t take the military out of the man.

Henry "Biggs" Biggston came home from Afghanistan with a German Shepherd named Diva, a pickup his grandfather rebuilt for him, and no plan. Chasing bail skips for his uncle was supposed to be easy money. So far it’s gotten him puked on, shot, and kicked in the head.

Then a favor for a friend puts a piece of security footage in his hands that was never supposed to exist. A crate unloaded in the dead of night. A frightened street kid running for her life. Her sister, who didn’t make it.

Now a mob family wants the footage gone, and Biggs with it. A cop he knew in high school wants him to walk away. And a woman with a purse full of cash wants him to follow her husband, a man she calls very dangerous.

Biggs has been hunted before. This time, he’s got Diva. And he isn’t leaving anyone behind.

When Justice Calls is the first Henry Biggston Thriller. Fast, gritty, and loyal to the end.
