Como una serpiente que muda de piel para poder crecer en otra que más adelante también se volverá pequeña, el centro comercial dice a la alfarería: «Muere, ya no necesito de ti». Una impresionante parábola sobre el mundo actual y sobre el verdadero significado del cambio.

José Saramago (Azinhaga, 1922-Tías, Lanzarote, 2010) is one of the most well-known and appreciated Portuguese writers worldwide.
