Synopsis "Turned Upside Down"

Deception, betrayal and secrets of the past create division within a close-knit Essex community of elderly friends... Irene's life is turned upside down following an unexpected family tragedy; Hetty is her strength and support throughout, a shoulder to cry on and a person to laugh with. Foul-mouthed Dolly though shows her true colours, proving where her loyalties lie. Cathy makes some seriously bad decisions due to misguided devotion towards her manipulative drug addicted son, which has serious implications for Irene. A glimpse into the world of the elderly, this story is full of hilarious one-liners showing moments of desperation and rebellion and proving that it's never too late to start afresh, whatever your age.
