Future History: The Rise and Demise of Islam or Christianity
Robinson, Stuart
Synopsis "Future History: The Rise and Demise of Islam or Christianity"
TWO FAITHS SHAPING THE DESTINY OF NATIONS ONE FUTURE THE CHURCH CANNOT IGNORE Across centuries and continents, two great faiths have shaped the spiritual and political landscape of our world. In Future History, Dr Robinson traces the rise of Islam and the global journey of Christianity, drawing on decades of research, historical insight, and contemporary analysis. From Europe to Africa, the Middle East to the Pacific, he reveals the forces-spiritual, cultural, economic, and ideological-reshaping nations and influencing the future. This book is more than history or geopolitics. It is a call for the Church to discern the times-and to understand the future history unfolding before us. Challenging complacency while pointing to clear signs of God's work among Muslims worldwide, this book urges the global Church to awaken, think clearly, and respond with faith, courage, and hope. Dr Robinson documents the astonishing advance of Islam while also revealing signs of fracture and spiritual awakening. As he puts it, "Jesus is running loose among Muslims around the world." Like David standing against Goliath, Robinson finds the answer to these challenges in turning to the God who saves. The future of the world lies in the hands of the Church. Rev. Dr Mark Durie - FAHA. From the Foreword - Australia. I highly recommend this book. As a student of Islam myself and a man who lived most of his life among Muslims, I can testify to its truthfulness and precision. Dr Robinson shows there is hope for the Church of Jesus Christ. Dr Yousry Sidrak - Former Professor, King Fahd University - Saudi Arabia. A carefully researched book confronting the crisis of Western confidence and the powerful forces reshaping our world. Understanding these realities is a critical first step toward the renewal of our civilization. An important work deserving a very wide readership. Hon John Anderson AC FTSE - Former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia. Future History by Dr Robinson is an outstanding analysis that dares to scrutinize the ideological, historical, and religious tensions shaping our world. I strongly recommend it to every believer and to church, business, and political leaders. It calls for commitment and evokes ideals that shape the future of nations. Dr Abou Sama - Africa Representative, Shelter Now International, Lecturer West African Advanced School of Theology - Togo.
