Charles M. Schulz
Creator of the famous comic Snoopy (Peanuts) whose strips have been adapted into cartoons and also reproduced on multiple merchandising and textile clothing items. Undoubtedly, Snoopy is the most influential and important comic strip of the 20th century (no offense to Jim Davis' Garfield). Its fame has even made it the mascot of NASA. It has been published in 2,600 newspapers in 40 languages, reaching 355 million people.
