Gary Stevenson
Gary Stevenson grew up in Ilford, London, in a humble family. Thanks to his talent for mathematics, he earned a scholarship at the prestigious London School of Economics and later went on to work as a trader at Citybank. In a few years, he became a millionaire, but after seeing the consequences of bank activities on people's lives, he left his trading career and decided to become an activist against inequality. Since then, he has pursued a master's degree at Oxford, participated in a think tank with several economic experts, and founded a YouTube channel, @garyseconomics, where he discusses the real-world economy. He frequently appears on television and radio and has written for The Guardian and OpenDemocracy, among others.
