Mark Samuels
Mark Samuels is a British fiction writer in the vein of Arthur Machen and H. P. Lovecraft. Born in the depths of Clapham, south of London, he was first published in 1988, and his short stories often focus on detailing a grim world where his protagonists gradually discover terrifying and enthusiastic sights lurking behind modernity. His work has been highly praised by people like Thomas Ligotti and Ramsey Campbell and has appeared in prestigious horror and weird fiction anthologies on both sides of the Atlantic.
