Nando Parrado
Fernando Seler Parrado Dolgay, also known as Nando Parrado, was born in Montevideo (Uruguay) on December 9, 1949. He is one of the survivors of the plane crash in the mountains and, like several of them, was a former student of Stella Maris College and played rugby at Rugby Old Christians Club. At the time of the accident, Nando Parrado was a university student and was 22 years old (he celebrated his 23rd birthday in the Andes). He spent some years in car racing and then became a TV presenter and producer and motivational speaker, which he continues to do to this day.
