Synopsis "Abtronculous"

When Rob Parker agrees to visit his quiet, aristocratic, Colombian college-roommate in Bogota one summer, they both unwittingly end up on an errand, with men chasing them through the beautiful, colorful, ancient, amazing and dangerous towns of Ecuador. On this trek, each of them learn through the lenses of trial, luck, humility and humor, about themselves and about the world abroad. Imagine a boy's teenage years filled with fun, care-free stunts and boyish amusement, including an entire brood of raucous, but good natured, friends. This was Rob Parker's teenage life and many of the experiences that Rob gained through those years prepared him for future life obstacles. All of these experiences are put to the test when Rob visits his college roommate, Daniel Cardenas, in Bogota after his freshmen year in college. Daniel is given the task by his wealthy father to deliver a small packet, with an unknown item inside, from Colombia to the southern-most portion of Ecuador. What Daniel's father did not foresee was that his business competitors wanted what was in the packet and would chase Daniel through the entire country of Ecuador to get it. Rob, coincidently, ends up being drawn along for the chase and gets to experience, in vivid description, all of the wonder that each climate, area, township and subculture in Ecuador has to offer. Ultimately, Rob gets to experience a phenomenon of ghosts from the past, which he dubs, "Abtronculous". Abtronculous is a fictional, travel/pop-culture/adventure that is thought provoking, thrilling and, primarily, humorous.
