Raquel Díaz Reguera has been drawing and writing since she was a child. At six, she won her first painting contest. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Seville and supplemented her education with courses in graphic design and digital illustration. However, her professional life took a different turn when she put aside her brushes to devote herself to her passion for music and writing.

Never abandoning her passion for writing, she began to write children's stories and illustrate them. In November 2010, she published her first illustrated album, Is There Anything More Boring Than Being a Pink Princess?, followed by: A Love So Big, A Kiss Before Breakfast, The Kite Monument, What's Going to Happen Now?..., among many others.
