Synopsis "Altogether Done"

Altogether Done is an unabashed western novel that tracks a man from his Texas orphan childhood through the hell of captivity in a Yankee prison for Johnny Rebs and ultimately his galvanization into a Union Blue uniform. Caleb Kane is at war with everyone, but mostly himself. In a peculiar turn of fate, he finds himself reunited with his estranged brother in Wyoming Territory. There, in the pursuit of his duty as an army intelligence agent, Kane becomes deeply mired in family, mystery and suspence on ground uneasily shared by an Indian Nation and a Cavalry Troop. A particularly nasty bad guy, a crooked cavalry captain and a drunkard Indian Agent make for a potent stew of wrongdoers that clutter Kane's trail with danger, murderous action and ultimately to the question of his own redemption.
