When Yoon Ha-rin walks into an elevator on the worst night of her life, she has no idea that the stranger beside her will change everything she knows about love, family, and the past. Seo Kang-woo is the cold, brilliant director of Mirae Broadcasting Network, a man whose guarded heart and ruthless determination have earned him both admiration and fear. Ha-rin expects nothing from him except difficult assignments and endless arguments. But when she discovers a mysterious photograph connected to Kang-woo's supposedly dead mother, their lives become dangerously intertwined. A cryptic message warns Ha-rin to stay away from Kang-woo. Another leads them toward a fifteen-year-old secret involving a suspicious death, hidden accounts, and a night remembered only as 11:47. As Ha-rin and Kang-woo investigate, they uncover evidence that their families have been connected for years. Their fathers carried secrets. Their parents told devastating lies. And someone powerful has spent fifteen years making sure the truth remains buried. But the deeper they dig, the more dangerous the mystery becomes. When Kang-woo discovers that his mother, Seo Eun-chae, may still be alive, the world he believed in begins to collapse. Every answer creates another question, and every revelation places Ha-rin closer to danger. Amid the lies and uncertainty, something unexpected begins to grow between them. A love neither planned. A love neither can deny. But when the truth threatens to destroy everything they have built, Kang-woo must decide whether protecting Ha-rin means pushing her away-or trusting her enough to face the storm together. Because some secrets can survive for fifteen years. Some wounds can take a lifetime to heal. And sometimes, the greatest love story begins when everything else falls apart. Amidst the Storm is a gripping K-drama-inspired romance of mystery, family secrets, sacrifice, healing, and a love powerful enough to survive the darkest night.
