In this book, professor and priest Alberto de Mingo Kaminouchi introduces the contemporary reader to Christian ethics by examining the New Testament through the three key concepts of Aristotle's ethics: happiness, virtue, and love.In turn, the three affirmations orient this reflection through the Gospel. First, when the triune God appears on the horizon, it becomes easier to understand that existence has a purpose: namely, participating with the entire human family in this project of happiness called the Kingdom of God. Alberto de Mingo Kaminouchi nació en Hiroshima (Japón) en 1964, de madre japonesa y padre español. Misionero redentorista, estudió Teología en la Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. Fue ordenado sacerdote en 1993. Se licenció en Sagrada Escritura en el Pontificio Instituto Bíblico (Roma) y se doctoró en Teología bíblica en la Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley (California, Estados Unidos).

Ha sido profesor y director del Instituto superior de Ciencias Morales (Madrid). Actualmente reparte su docencia entre la Saint Louis University (Campus de Madrid) y la Academia Alfonsiana (Roma).

Entre sus publicaciones cabe destacar: «But it is not so among you». Echoes of power in Mk 10.32-45 (Bloomsbury 2003) y Símbolos de Salvación. Redención, victoria, sacrificio (Sígueme 2007) e Introducción a la ética cristiana (Sígueme 2015). Es autor de numerosos artículos académicos y director de la revista Moralia.
