Synopsis "Before You & Me"

Olivia Drake has tried romance and decided it’s really not worth the trouble. Instead, she’s focused on her career as a solicitor with the plan to take over her father’s law firm in Bath. When a dear friend and client of her father’s suddenly passes away, Olivia is tasked with transferring the estate to the next heir. The only problem is, an heir supposedly doesn't exist.

American Morgan Loftry has never been to England and doesn’t know anyone who lives there. A British lawyer, though, has tracked her down to say she’s inherited a Georgian manor in Bath. Thinking it’s likely a scam, Morgan reluctantly agrees to a meeting.

Olivia has her work cut out for her simply convincing Morgan that she’s truly inherited a manor and must move to England to claim it. Then Olivia has to keep Morgan from running back to her quiet life in Minnesota for an entire year or the whole deal will fall through. Meanwhile, Morgan has to figure out how to survive drivers on the wrong side of the road and tea-time etiquette, and both have to decide what to do with the mystery they uncover at Wintry Manor.

Two worlds collide and a hidden love story comes to light that both Morgan and Olivia can’t help wishing had turned out different. But the past might change the future if Morgan and Olivia let down their guard long enough for a new love story to be written.

She came to claim a manor, not lose her heart.
