Synopsis "But I Waaant It!"

Teaching your child that they can't have everything they see on TV or what other kids have is important. Grownups struggle with this as much as children. And it is a problem whether your family is rich or poor, but it is much harder for families with money problems. Kids have to learn that there are limits on what they can get. Starting with preschoolers is easier than waiting until they are older. This empathetic book that focuses on kids in struggling families is a great way to teach children that lots of kids can barely afford to eat and that there is a greater value in friendship than in things.
