Chichi and Chuchu: Journey to the Heart of Karbala The Complete Story of Imam Hussein (Alayhi Salam)What if two children discovered that the most important story in Islam was also the most beautiful love story ever told? Chichi and Chuchu grow up hearing stories at their father's knee - stories of a man whose grandfather was the Prophet of Allah ¿, who was carried as a baby to prove the truth of Islam before Christian scholars, whose name was written into the Quran itself before he could speak, and who - when the whole world asked him to be silent - stood up and said: a person like me does not bow to a person like Yazid. This book takes young readers on two journeys at once. The first is through history - from the warm lamplight of the Prophet's home in Medina, through the three miraculous nights of Surah al-Insan when a family gave away their last bread three times and Allah answered with a chapter of the Quran, through the Event of the Cloak where five sacred souls were named from the heavens, all the way to the plains of Karbala where Imam Hussein (a.s.) made the greatest stand for truth in all of human history. The second journey is Chichi and Chuchu's own - boarding a plane to Iraq, standing speechless before the golden dome of Imam Ali's shrine in Najaf, and arriving at Karbala where Chuchu breaks down at the shrine and says through his tears: I love him so much, and I am so sorry he was alone. Drawing on authenticated hadiths from classical Islamic sources and direct Quranic references including Surah al-Insan (76), Ayat al-Mubahila (3:61), and the Verse of Purification (33:33), this book gives children the full, undiminished story - the patience, the bravery, the generosity, the sacrifice - and one simple, lasting message:We carry his flag. We always will.Suitable for children aged 6 and above, and every adult who loves them.
