Adara Wynveil has never wanted more than the quiet life she knows in Harbor's Rest-warm bread cooling in her family's bakery, the familiar song of the cliffs, and the sea always within reach. Then a royal courier speaks her name.Chosen to compete in the Marriage Trials, Adara is summoned to the Water Palace alongside contestants from across Zodaria's six elemental provinces. But there is one detail no one can explain:Adara wasn't simply chosen. She was requested.By an heir she has never knowingly met.Suddenly surrounded by royal families, ancient traditions, shifting alliances, and a competition that could determine the future of the realm, Adara struggles to find her place among people who have spent their entire lives preparing for a world she barely understands. And then there's Prince Caelum. The Water heir is familiar in ways he shouldn't be. Guarded when she needs answers. Drawn to her by something neither of them seems able to explain. As the Trials grow more dangerous, strange reactions in Adara's magic become increasingly difficult to ignore. The sea seems to know something she doesn't. The palace is hiding secrets of its own. And the closer Adara comes to Caelum, the more impossible it becomes to believe their meeting was ever chance.Because in Zodaria, magic remembers. The tides choose. And some destinies begin long before anyone realizes they've already been set in motion.Chosen is the first book in A Zodarian Series, an immersive fantasy romance filled with elemental magic, royal intrigue, found friendship, hidden secrets, and a slow-burn romance touched by fate.
