This study presents an innovative approach focused on organizational and informational integration for the implementation of an MES system in an industrial environment. It conducts an in-depth analysis of the existing information system, developing a thorough understanding of its components, their interactions and identified gaps. In addition, it proposes a comprehensive methodology that rigorously frames the main components of the MES implementation process, from the design phase through to the operational phase. In addition to this theoretical basis, the study also integrates a practical dimension through a case study conducted within a flour mill. The aim is to provide concrete information on the implementation of an MES and to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed methodology through this practical validation.
