Synopsis "Convince Me"

The small town of Truesdale lures another resident with the hopes of following in their family footsteps. Adapting to his new low-key lifestyle, Derrick maintains a casual relationship with a woman he met while visiting years ago. Their after-hour affairs are kept under wraps, not wanting to draw attention from their friends...and family. "I've never looked at someone and felt a rush like this." Local school teacher, Katie, is having fun with her mysterious late night adventures, but hates keeping it a secret from her best friend, Derrick's sister. With no one to talk to about her internal struggle, she continues fighting to stay in the friend zone, tip-toeing dangerously around the idea of a relationship. "It would be the kind of love that could destroy me." Surrendering to temptation might seem to be the right choice, but the past always has a way of convincing you otherwise.
