Athanasius Schneider, O.R.C. (Tokmok, Kirguistán, 1961), es un destacado obispo católico, teólogo y patrólogo, conocido por su defensa de la tradición y liturgia católica. Criado en una familia de alemanes deportados a Asia Central bajo el régimen soviético, se trasladó a Alemania en 1973 y se unió a los Canónigos Regulares de la Santa Cruz de Coímbra.Fue consagrado obispo en 2006, sirviendo como auxiliar en Karagandá y, desde 2011, en María Santísima en Astaná, Kazajistán. Como prolífico autor y conferenciante, Schneider aboga por la claridad doctrinal, la adoración eucarística y la reforma de la Iglesia, criticando el relativismo moderno y subrayando la importancia de la fe inmutable.
