Synopsis "Cryptic"

At a national laboratory, security is of utmost importance...which is why the power outage and subsequent disappearance of the lab's top scientists is deeply disturbing. Even more unsettling is the fact that a new secret weapon is at the center of it all. While federal investigators work tirelessly on the case, Sean, Dave, and Jack, the sons of the scientists, consistently stumble onto clues. Setting out with reckless abandon, the three resolve to find their parents at any cost. But this cost soon proves to be far more than they imagined. The mysterious millionaire known as Mr. Abdul seems to take a special interest in the three young sleuths, an interest which is not entirely welcome. But he is not the only one they have to fear. Pressed from every side, the boys become increasingly desperate. And then an ancient family secret begins to unfold-perhaps one that was better left untouched. Evil seems to have the upper hand. But there is always hope...
