Eduardo Levy Yeyati (Buenos Aires, 1965) is an Argentine economist and writer, known for his academic work and his foray into literature. He is a full professor at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a principal researcher at CONICET. He has held prominent roles such as chief economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina and head of emerging markets strategy at Barclays Capital. His academic output focuses on emerging finances, monetary policy, and economic development. In 2015, he received the Centenary Award from the National Academy of Economic Sciences for his work "Fear of appreciation".

In the literary field, he has published essays such as La resurrección (2007, with Diego Valenzuela), Vamos por todo (2013, with Marcos Novaro), Porvenir (2015), Después del trabajo (2018) and Automatizados (2024, with Darío Judzik). He is also the author of novels like Gallo (2008), Culebrón (2013) and El juego de la mancha (2018), the last two being finalists in literary awards. His work spans both economic essay and fiction, exploring contemporary issues with a critical and analytical eye.
