Synopsis "Dagherrotipi (in Italian)"

L'obiettivo di questa ricerca è identificare e analizzare le specificità della produzione di dagherrotipi a Rio de Janeiro tra il 1840 e il 1850. Il dagherrotipo è stato il primo processo fotografico riconosciuto e brevettato dal governo francese nell'agosto del 1839. In Brasile fu presentato nel gennaio 1840 dall'abate Louis Compte nella città di Rio de Janeiro alla presenza del futuro imperatore Pedro II. Per realizzare questa ricerca, abbiamo utilizzato come documenti gli annunci dei dagherrotipisti sui giornali dell'epoca che circolavano a corte e il manuale su come produrre i dagherrotipi. Sulla base delle informazioni contenute negli annunci, abbiamo stabilito delle categorie per sistematizzare i dati. In questo modo è stato possibile confrontare le informazioni generali sulla produzione di dagherrotipi e le particolarità presentate dai fotografi, mettendo in relazione i dati e consentendo di mappare il processo di conoscenza in questo periodo.
