Gillian C. Galen, PsyD, is a child and adolescent psychologist with extensive experience, specialized in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). She leads the training of the 3East program, a range of programs for teenagers that use DBT to address self-harming behaviors and symptoms of borderline personality disorder. She has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating adolescents and young adults experiencing emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-harming behaviors, such as self-injury and suicidal behaviors

Dr. Galen has a particular interest in the use of mindfulness in the treatment of borderline personality disorder and psychiatric illnesses. She is co-author of the books "Mindfulness for Borderline Personality Disorder: Relieve Your Suffering Using the Core Skill of Dialectical Behavior Therapy", "Coping with BPD: DBT and CBT Skills to Soothe the Symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder", and "DBT for Dummies"

Dr. Blaise Aguirre is an expert in child psychiatry, including psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. He has worked extensively with children and their families, and is an author and speaker on various aspects of mood, personality, and development in children and adolescents. He is the medical director of 3East at McLean Hospital, affiliated with Harvard, a continuous care program that uses dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) for youth with self-harming behaviors and borderline personality traits. He has been a staff psychiatrist at McLean Hospital since 2000. He is an adjunct professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and lives in Lexington, Massachusetts, with his wife and four children.
