Synopsis "De mi Vida (in Spanish)"

Los textos autobiográficos que se reúnen en el presente volumen comprenden el período de la niñez, la adolescencia y la época de estudiante universitario de Friedrich Nietzsche, hasta su acceso a la cátedra de lengua y literatura griega en la Universidad de Basilea, cuando contaba veinticinco años de edad. De entre la variedad de textos que se ofrecen al lector, destaca la autobiografía que escribió a los trece años y que él mismo denominaría su «primer libro». Asimismo, se incluyen el Diario de la escuela de Pforta y Mirada retrospectiva a mis dos años de estudiante en Leipzig, texto clave donde Nietzsche narra su encuentro con personajes como Ritschl, la génesis de sus primeros trabajos filológicos o su descubrimiento de la filosofía de Schopenhauer. A modo de apéndice, figuran dos ensayos del pensador en los que ya se esbozan algunos de los temas que, de forma magistral, trataría en sus obras de madurez.

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (October 15, 1844-Weimar, August 25, 1900) was a German philosopher, poet, musician, and philologist, whose work has had a profound influence on contemporary global thought and Western culture.
Nietzsche wrote on topics as diverse as art, philology, music, history, religion, science, and tragedy. He critiqued culture, religion, and Western philosophy through the genealogy of the concepts that integrate them, based on the analysis of moral attitudes (positive and negative) towards life.
It is particularly notable the influence exerted on Nietzsche by the also German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer, whom he considered his teacher, although he did not follow Schopenhauer's ideas dogmatically, and in many aspects, he diverged from his thought, even making a radical critique of his philosophical ideas.
