Matthias Baum untersucht die Hermeneutik Gadamers aus christlich-theologischer Perspektive. Er leistet dabei ein Dreifaches: Erstens zeichnet er Gadamers Rezeption theologischer Grundgedanken nach; analysiert zweitens, wie Gadamer diese transformiert und beleuchtet drittens Strukturanalogien zwischen Gadamers Hermeneutik und christlicher Theologie.
