Synopsis "Die Parallel Beziehung (in German)"

Der schon ergraute Andy lernt die junge Selina in einem Club kennen. Es entwickelt sich eine besondere Freundschaft zwischen diesen beiden. Da sie ihren Beruf aufgeben möchte, ihr aber die finanziellen Mittel fehlen, hilft und unterstützt er sie über mehrere Jahre mit beträchtlichen Geldsummen. Er baut ihr ein Haus und kauft einen Shop für eine Boutique. Seine Familie bemerkt von seinen hohen Ausgaben zunächst nichts. Als es dann herauskommt, entwickelt sich eine nie dagewesene Beziehungskrise in der gesamten Familie. Man glaubt, Andy sei zu entmündigen und vermutet, dass er betrügerisch ausgenutzt wurde. Sogar die Polizei wird eingeschaltet. Unendlich viele zermürbende Diskussionen sind die Folge, auch therapeutische Ma nahmen werden notwendig. Die Entwicklung ist dramatisch, aber nicht hoffnungslos.
