Despite government assurances that the CSA addresses the concerns raised against the DSA, this research finds that many of the restrictive elements remain. Journalists, media institutions, and digital content creators continue to face challenges due to vague legal definitions, harsh penalties, and broad discretionary powers given to law enforcement.The book highlights the tension between national security and fundamental rights in a digital ageparticularly how legal instruments can be used both as tools for protection and as mechanisms for suppression.
