LA ADAPTACIÓN DEL FENÓMENO LITERARIO DE LA MANO

Brodeck, recién salido de un campo de concentración, regresa a su pueblo,
cerca de la frontera con Alemania. Una noche llega al hostal cuando los
hombres del pueblo acaban de cometer un brutal asesinato. Se le obliga a
escribir entonces un «informe» sobre el suceso con la idea de que se les
«comprenda y perdone».
Manu Larcenet (Blast, La mazmorra, Los combates cotidianos), figura
clave del Nuevo Cómic Francés, adapta la obra maestra de Philippe
Claudel (Premio Goncourt 2007) y nos ofrece una historia brillante, oscura
y trágica que sondea las profundidades del alma humana. Unas páginas
de impresionante belleza en blanco y negro, donde la naturaleza salvaje
subraya la pequeñez de los hombres.

Born on May 6, 1969 in Issy-les-Moulineaux (France), after studying Applied Arts, he made his professional debut in 1994 in the pages of Fluide Glacial magazine, where he created various comics. Two years later, the publisher Audie released his first album, which compiled the material appeared in the magazine. Later, he went on to collaborate with the weekly Spirou, creating stories that would be collected in three albums. In 1997, he founded, with Nicolas Lebedel, his own publishing house: Les Rêveurs de Runes, where he self-published his most personal and experimental projects. In 2000, he collaborated with Lewis Trondheim on his famous saga La Mazmorra, illustrating various albums. That same year, he joined the publisher Dargaud, for whose collection Poisson Pilote he produced Los mundos intermedios (2000), Les cosmonautes du futur (2001, script by Trondheim), Le retour a la Terre (2002, script by Jean-Yves Ferri) and La légende de Robin des Bois (2003). The publication of Los combates cotidianos (2003) earned him the Best Album Award at the Angoulême Salon of 2004. That same year, he published in Norma Editorial La carretera and Terapia de grupo.
