Un día, supe que mi abuelo huyó de Polonia algunos años antes de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, antes de la Shoah. El costado inconcebible de esta palabra me exasperó durante largo tiempo. Fue un viernes a la tarde, me encontré frente a la nieta de Adolf Eichmann y ella no lograba recordar el nombre del campo de Auschwitz, sentí dolor por ello, duró solo unos segundos. Recordé aquello que decía Primo Levi en Si esto es un hombre: No olvides que esto sucedió, no, no lo olvides; creo que quiero hacer exactamente lo contrario. Olvidar todo.
