In the 1970s, he founded an ashram in Pune, which became a center of attraction for thousands of followers from around the world. Among his most notable works are Osho Zen Tarot: The Transcendental Game of Zen (1995), The Book of Ego: Freedom from Illusion (2001), Meditation: The First and Last Freedom (1997), and The Book of Man (2002), all within the spiritual essay genre.
