Synopsis "Enfield"

The premier book in the Enfield series tells the story of Malcolm Hawthorne and his friends, who find a mysterious tin box containing six unusually colored stones. At about the same time, a disturbed and sociopathic classmate inexplicably begins harassing the boys. The friends also start to experience vivid, exciting, and even dangerous dreams, which are mostly forgotten upon waking. Are all these events related? From a light and jovial beginning, the story gets darker as their tormentor's past is revealed and the dreams get more perilous. As the story builds to a dramatic climax, Malcolm begins to lose his grasp on what is real and what is only a dream. Book 1 ends with a revelation so shocking, it will leave your head spinning, and you'll be desperate to learn what happens next in Enfield.
