Psychosomatic illnesses are those physical illnesses in which psychological factors are effective in their aggravation and prevalence, and it does not mean that only psychological factors are involved in their occurrence, but psychological factors have a catalytic role in accelerating and intensifying them.26% of the total population over the age of 25 suffer from psychosomatic illnesses, while less than 1% of the population use psychotherapy and counseling services and about 70% of people who go to hospitals for examination and treatment. They suffer from psychosomatic diseases (Dehkordi, 2008).
