Mino Milani (1928-2022) was an Italian writer, cartoonist, and journalist, known for his children's and young adult literature, as well as his historical and adventure stories. Among his most notable books is The Treasure of Alexander the Great (1978), which explores the genre of the historical novel. He also wrote The Man Who Came from Nowhere (1977), one of his most emblematic novels within the adventure genre.

In addition to his novels, Milani contributed to the world of comics, collaborating with publications like Il Corriere dei Piccoli and creating memorable characters. His narrative style captivated generations of young readers, establishing him as a key figure in Italian youth literature of the 20th century.
