Synopsis "Frankenstein: New World "

Safely tucked away inside the hollow earth where humanity survived after Ragna Rok, precocious young Lilja receives visions of a new darkness taking root on the surface. Defying her elders, Lilja awakens the timeless oracle--once known as Frankenstein--to investigate the warnings and, perhaps, even explore the new world above. Frankenstein: New World, from Mike Mignola, Thomas Sniegoski, Christopher Golden, artist Peter Bergting, and colorist Michelle Madsen, explores a new chapter in the world of Hellboy! Collects Frankenstein: New World #1-#4.

(California, 1960) American comic artist and writer. He published his first drawings in the fanzine The Comic Reader and made his professional debut in 1982 for Marvel as an inker. Later, he drew series such as Hulk and Alpha Flight for the same label. After a brief stint at the short-lived First Comics, in 1987 he moved on to collaborate with DC Comics illustrating miniseries like Superman and Batman. He returned to Marvel and worked on issues of Dr. Strange. In 1993, he created his most famous work for Dark Horse: Hellboy, whose first miniseries would be scripted by John Byrne but which he would end up doing as a complete author.
