El London Miau Institute decidió darle una medalla de Graduada de Honor a la gata Elizabeth por ser la alumna más millonaria de todos los estudiantes que pasaron por sus aulas. Y para festejar, Elizabeth da una fiesta exclusiva para un grupo selecto de invitados. Con intención de sumarse al festejo, el Museo de Piedras Preciosas le ha prestado su tesoro mayor, el rubí de los mil millones, para que esté exhibido durante la velada en la mansión.

Los invitados son Gaturro y sus amigos: Ágatha, Katy Kit y su perrito, Gatovica, Gateen, Canturro, Gatunislao, Gatulongo y Gaturrón. Y también hay algunos invitados especiales, como Catito (el ahijado de Elizabeth, un joven artista plástico moderno y vanidoso) y la famosa event planner Guirnalda Party, una gata hiperproducida de pelo platinado que estuvo a cargo de la organización de la fiesta. Todos están elegantemente vestidos para la ocasión. Y todos quedan deslumbrados por el rubí, que está protegido por varios sistemas de seguridad, imposibles de franquear. Sin embargo, repentinamente hay un apagón y cuando las luces vuelven a encenderse, el rubí ha desaparecido. Ahora todos son sospechosos. Ahora hay que investigar a fondo para dar con quien se llevó el gran rubí. ¿Podrán Gaturro y Agatha develar el misterio?

Cristian Gustavo Dzwonik, known as Nik, is an Argentine cartoonist and graphic humorist born in Buenos Aires on March 18, 1971. A graduate of the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires and a graphic designer from the University of Buenos Aires, he began his professional career at 17 years old in the magazine Muy Interesante. Since 1992 he has worked at the newspaper La Nación, where in 1997 he created Gaturro, his most emblematic character. Gaturro has been the protagonist of more than 40 books, a 3D animated movie, and the virtual world Mundo Gaturro, reaching audiences in Latin America, the United States, Spain, and France

Nik has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Konex de Platino Award in 2002 as the best graphic humorist, and on five occasions the Award from the Inter-American Press Society. His work has been translated into several languages and published internationally. Additionally, he has collaborated with organizations such as UNICEF and the Leer Foundation in initiatives promoting reading and children's rights.
