She started her book writing journey with inspiration from her son who was diagnosed with moderate autism. As a parent of a child with special needs and a woman of faith, Takeemah found it challenging to help her child understand certain life events. Through her penmanship, she hopes to encourage people to engage in meaningful conversations while helping others process monumental experiences.
