In this book, authors added the information about the diabetic mellitus, sedentary lifestyle of the individuals, and the quality of life related to the older people. Healthy older adults who participated in regular physical activity of at least moderate intensity for more than one hour per week had higher values in all eight domains of HRQL than those who were less physically active. It was concluded that the high level of physical activity has a significant effect on all dimensions of the HRQOL in elderly diabetic individuals. The individuals with physically inactive shows the reduced quality of life also. Regular physical activity helps to improve physical and mental functions as well as reverse some effects of chronic disease to keep older people mobile and independent.
