The collections covers information concerning the War of the League of Schmalkald (1546/47), the political stance of the Swiss Confederacy, events in Augsburg, schools in Kappel and Chur, the state of church in Basel and Berne, information about text materials and libraries, and numerous references to other contemporary publications. The collection also offers numerous unknown bibliographic details, such as a visit by a relative of Andreas Vesalius and the Swiss deacons Jodocus Kilchmeyer and Johannes Fadminger.
